The Night NecklaceRed Earth Debuts Their Exclusive Signature Series Collaboration with Amy Stroup
Red Earth, an ethical jewelry brand that employs artisans abroad, is debuting their first Signature Series collaboration piece, The Night Light Necklace, with Amy Stroup, a Nashville based singer/songwriter and active member of Sugar and the Hi-Low’s. The necklace is available online here.
Travis Gravette, Founder and CEO of Red Earth, and Katy McDonald, Creative Director, joined forces with Amy to create a powerful signature piece inspired by Amy’s musical style.
“The hexagon for example reminded Amy of her tambourine. So we created that shape to hold the stone,” Gravette said.
Amy has been a good friend to Red Earth for years, and was eager to work with them on this project.
“I love Red Earth family, their commitment to great design and the values they embody through their production process, so I was very excited to collaborate with them on this awesome project,” Stroup said.
While in Kenya working on the Fall/Winter collection, Travis and Katy connected with Amy to create The Night Light Necklace. This hand cast, brass necklace is skillfully crafted by artisans from Kenya. Each necklace carries a unique locally sourced hand carved stone creating a distinctive look for each individual. The Night Light Necklace will be featured alongside the Fall/Winter collection, Rare Society, this season.
