“Redeeming Love - Reprise” digital release May 11th.

Recently, I was floored with excitement when 200 Women contacted me to be apart of their project. They said the photo editor Kieran Scott had been editing all the photos from his travels for the book to the song. He played the song for his team and they loved my song Redeeming Love and asked if they could use the song for the project trailer and wanted to do an interview for their amazing book. I of course said yes! 200 Women created a beautiful photography book capturing portraits of the women they interviewed. From 200 Women “200 Women is a book and exhibition inspired by a belief that you can’t empower women without listening to their stories. Our subsequent idea was to persuade two hundred women in different parts of the world - whether they be rich or poor, black or white, educated or uneducated, famous or unknown - to sit or stand in front of a plain sheet of fabric and to be photographed and filmed while answering five fundamental questions.” I’m honored to have been included in this book with such a beautiful message.

I originally wrote Redeeming Love in 2010 and released it on my project #TheOtherSideofLoveSessions. That said, I thought it would be fun to re-imagine it and re-record it. I decided to call on some of my favorite women in Nashville that I have written songs with, toured with, respect, admire and love. I emailed a ton of gals and recently one Friday we gathered in Corey Crowder’s awesome studio space and cut some gang vocals on the bridge and the chorus.
